Introduction
Southampton is Southeast of London and is about 2-2.5 hours drive from the airports in London. Most passengers disembark and head straight to London.
Port Orientation
Cunard typically docks at the southernmost tip of the port (berth 38/39).
Transportation
Train is another option for getting to London and it is often quicker than driving or taking the bus. There are 3-4 trains per hour taking about 70 to 90 minutes.
Sightseeing
There are sightseeing walks through the local tourism office that are free in the summer. The walking tours include visits to the medieval town walls and St. Michaels Church, some of which dates back to 1070. The walking tours also include where the Mayflower embarked.
A list of fiber stores will be provided once available and fully researched. The shopping area offers malls as well as department stores, quant boutiques and specialty stores. And of course for dining, there are numerous pubs, cafes and restaurants.
